Paul J. Lim is chief financial correspondent at U.S. News & World Report magazine, where he covers the markets and personal finance. Before joining U.S. News, he was a personal finance writer and mutual fund columnist for the Los Angeles Times in Los Angeles, as well as a staff writer at Money magazine in New York. Earlier in his career, he was twice named by the TJFR Group to its “30 Under 30 List” of the nation's top young financial journalists. He is also the author of Money Mistakes You Can't Afford to Make: How to Solve Common Problems and Improve Your Personal Finances and Investing Demystified.

A graduate of Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania, Lim currently resides in Boston.
