Jerry C. Whitaker

is a well-known author in the field of video, television, HDTV, and radio. The author and editor of dozens of books on technical topics, he edited the leading technical manual in television,

The Standard Handbook of Video and Television Engineering.

He is also the author of

as well as other standard references. Mr. Whitaker is a Fellow of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) and of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
